The Appeal
The long-lived Jaguar XJS is one of those cars that improved over time. The last cars made are widely regarded as the best, especially those in AJ6 straight-six-engined form.
This 1996 XJS 4.0 Convertible is one of those desirable post-facelift cars, finished in desirable white over beige leather.
Our car was imported from California, where it reportedly spent its life with a single owner. The dry Californian climate has left the bodywork reportedly in superb order. The vendor describes the paintwork as being in very good order with minimal signs of wear, and the leather interior is said to show only light use. The dashboard retains its wood inlay, described as being in good condition, and the soft top is described as functional but somewhat aged, operating manually.
