The Appeal
The 987 refined the Boxster package with better build quality, improved cabin materials and, importantly, a more reliable flat six engine. In 2008, Porsche offered 250 UK buyers the limited Sport Edition model, which brought together a series of sought-after options into one desirable machine.
Amongst a long list of additions, these cars notably received the SportDesign aero kit, clever PASM suspension package, lowered ride height and sports exhaust. This 2.7L Meteor Grey car has that desirable kit and is fitted with the 2.7L engine and 6-speed manual gearbox. It is a low-mileage car that has been well maintained solely by main dealers and specialists. A useful factory Certificate of Authenticity confirms the specification.
The vendor acquired the car in 2016 and tells us that it has always been garaged and only used in the summer. That care is reflected in a very well-kept car that looks far younger than its 18 years.
