The Appeal
The MV Agusta Brutale 1078 RR is widely regarded as the purest and most radical expression of the original Brutale concept, combining the agility of the first-series 750 with the ferocity of the 1,078cc inline-four. It is a motorcycle that needs little introduction among enthusiasts. What Tamburini Corse have done here, however, elevates it into another realm entirely.
This is the Tamburini Corse T1 Massimo Proto, a unique, one-of-one creation from the Italian design and engineering house founded in 2009 by Andrea Tamburini to continue the legacy of his father Massimo, the man behind the Ducati 916 and MV Agusta F4. It was among the very first builds to emerge from Tamburini Corse, and it comes accompanied by a certificate of authenticity confirming its singular status.
The specification is extraordinary. A full Motocorse catalogue has been fitted, complemented by BST carbon fibre wheels, Brembo Stylema calipers, an Öhlins TTX rear shock and Öhlins steering damper, an STM clutch assembly, a Microtec ECU with electronic quickshifter, and a titanium F1 exhaust system. The bodywork features airbrushed carbon fibre fairings and fuel tank, a one-of-a-kind livery in Nero Carbonio, while aerospace-grade titanium hardware is used throughout. The vendor describes it as being in a very good state of preservation, and rates every aspect of its condition as like new.
Prior to sale, the motorcycle has been subjected to 56 in-depth mechanical, electrical and chassis checks by the Hypericonic workshop, all documented with photography and video. It will be delivered with a fresh MOT and comes with a 12-month warranty from Hypermoto. For the collector or rider seeking one of the most radical and exclusive interpretations of the Brutale ever conceived, this is a compelling opportunity.image.png1.04 MB
