The Appeal

This 1956 Fiat 1100 Barchetta is a quite unique. Originally a Fiat Millecento, it was re-bodied as a Barchetta in 1966 by legendary bodywork specialist Giorgio Greppi for Autotecnica del Lario. The Greppi brothers are known for their work on several bodies, including 9 examples of the legendary Alfa Romeo Tipo 33 Stradale. Incorporating a lightweigh aluminium body draped over a steel tubular chassis, this Barchetta is nothing short of a work of art.

It was restored between 2014 and 2022, with a focus on the mechanicals. The restoration included a renovation of the brakes, fuel pump, "Dubonnet" front suspension, and Weber carburettors. A new fuel tank was installed and the electrics were updated. The steering column, pedals, and gear stick were also adjusted for comfortable driving.
