The Appeal

The breadth of the Lamborghini range during the mid-1960s was such that customers could choose between a 3.5-litre V12 grand tourer and a two-cylinder diesel tractor. The two vehicles really couldn’t be more different, and yet the former would never have been possible if it hadn't been for Ferruccio’s thriving agricultural machinery business.

This 1965 1R tractor was one of Lamborghini Trattori’s most popular machines. Complete with power take-off (PTO) and a well-regarded 32 bhp diesel engine, many are still working the land to this day. Our example has been restored to a very high standard and would look fabulous in any collection of Lamborghini supercars. These tractors are rare outside of Italy, especially in the UK, and most have been worked very hard. This one looks utterly superb and reportedly drives exactly as it should
