Full roll cage fitted, perfect for a classic racecar build
All original parts removed for the build included in sale
The Appeal
Designed with help from Ferrari, the Fiat Dino was built with the aim of selling more examples of the V6 engine powering the infamous Ferrari Dino 246 GT. In fact, the outfit managed to homologate its little power plant for Formula 2 racing in the early seventies thanks to this very model.
This example, from 1970 is fitted with a roll cage and has been stripped out by its current owner who hoped to build a historic racer out of it. With too many projects on the go, this one is needing a new home where it can fulfil its potential, be it by becoming a racecar, or by returning to its road worthy origins. DSC_5511.jpg2.55 MB

With all its original parts, this 1970 Fiat Dino restoration project is surely an excellent starting point for anyone looking for something to do over the winter months. It may have a roll cage currently allowing for a relatively swift conversion into a racing variant, though it is reportedly easy to take out according to the vendor meaning there are plenty of opportunities open to the future of this beautiful model.
