The Appeal
Everyone really ought to own an MGB at least once in their lifetime. They remain an ever-popular choice among classic car enthusiasts and it’s easy to see why: classic styling, rear-wheel drive and enough power to play with, they offer bucket loads of fun at an attainable price.
The simple mechanicals, enviable parts availability and practical shape means that there really are very few reasons why you shouldn’t be looking for one. And the car offered here has already had considerable sums spent on it, including an overhaul of the front brakes, fuel system, ignition and it has even had a rebuilt set of carburettors fitted.
With chrome bumpers and wire wheels, this 1970 MGB GT is a very desirable specification and offers a great entry point into the world of classic ownership. Of course, there are a few areas which could be improved, but that’s all part of the fun of owning an MG.
