Highlights
- Impressive example of the legendary Ghia
- 1.6L engine with 4-speed manual transmission
- Valid inspection until 2029
The Appeal
Introduced in 1956, the Karmann Ghia is often seen as ‘The Sporty Beetle’. That’s not a detriment to the car - it was fairly accurate. With the Beetle’s reliable running gear packed into a simply exceptional Carrozzeria Ghia styling package, and now-iconic Karmann bodywork - which was smoothed out with English Pewter to create a simply exceptional, streamlined and, crucially, lightweight car that could hold its own pretty nicely on the road.
This example comes to us in fine fettle, with plenty of time on its technical inspection and a beguiling interior that’s been exceptionally well-kept.
