The Appeal

This particular car, with its Scarab Brown exterior and sky orange interior, is a fine example of the model. It has been well maintained by its second registered owner since 2005, with regular oil changes and tyre replacements. The car has taken part in major events such as the 50th anniversary of the DS in Paris and the 60th anniversary of Citroën at Montlhéry.

Wheels appear to be in good condition with plenty of tread on the tyres
The underside is in good condition and clean
Inside, the car is in good condition
The orange upholstery has no tears
However, there is a seam coming undone on the driver's seat
Comes with a Varilux blind as an accessory
Single-channel radio still in place
Original floor mats included

The Mechanics

1985 cm3 I4 engine
4-speed manual transmission
Engine compartment appears to be in good condition
Slight steering leak
This is a common problem, however, and the mechanic recommends not replacing the part, as more recent replacements tend to leak more.
In any case, this does not appear to be causing any adverse effects on the vehicle
No other mechanical problems were reported to us
