The Appeal
A true design icon and one of the most successful cars ever produced, the Beetle is one of the few cars which genuinely needs no introduction.
This particular car started life fitted with a 1300cc engine, which has since been replaced with a 1600 unit to add a bit more power. This, along with the disc brakes and inertia reel seatbelts, makes it a decidedly modern car in comparison with the original Beetle when it was first released.
It has only been driven a couple of miles in the past year and remains in excellent condition. The fabric hood has recently been replaced and the black paintwork is in presentable condition.
If you’ve always fancied a convertible Beetle with a little extra power, then this is the car for you.

Summary
There’s something inherently charming about a Beetle, with their rear-mounted air-cooled engines and unmissable styling. And what’s not to like about a convertible version.
Add to this the extra poke you get from a larger engine and you get a very useable car indeed. This is the perfect choice for use on sunny afternoons and is almost guaranteed to bring a smile to the driver’s face, as well as passers by.
