The Appeal
It seems almost impossible to make the 2CV even more eccentric and original than it already is. Yet that is exactly what Wolfgang Hoffmann has managed to do by creating his unmistakable kit that transforms it into a sought-after convertible.
Inspired by the style of hot rods and cabriolets born before World War II, Hoffmann offered both factory-assembled cars and conversion kits. Only 1,700 were built, of which only 250 were factory produced.
This makes this highly original Hoffman 2CV particularly rare and special. It is fitted with a modified Hoffmann kit - inspired by the Fiat Jolly 'spiaggina' - and was painstakingly restored before being sold. The result is a car in excellent condition both inside and out.
Described by the seller as 'a kind of four-wheeled motorbike,' it is a very special, unusual and fun classic car that is difficult to compare with other cars.
The History and Paperwork

The Condition

- Original 2CV mechanics including 602cm³ air-cooled engine
- 4-speed manual gearbox
