The Appeal

The classic Mini is undoubtedly one of the most iconic and desirable classic vehicles on the market. They’re often credited with paving the way for the front-wheel-drive platform as we know it and offer a near-unrivaled driving experience, packed with character. 

This particular example has embraced its motorsport spirit, and now sports a fantastic array of upgrades as part of its previous restoration. Although not a great deal is known of the dates & full extent of the restoration, it is clear to see that this little Mini has had considerable effort, time, and money invested into it, as evident by the condition & specification presented today. 
The vehicle now sports a gorgeous coat of Old English White, 10” split rims, a full Harris Tweed interior, a Mountney steering wheel, a fiberglass dashboard, and a host of additional interior goodies. Showing off both form and function, this little Mini is also packing extensive suspension & drivetrain upgrades, a rebuilt 1380 engine, Specialist Components billet 7 port cylinder head, billet AT Power throttle bodies, and a specification list just short of a mile long.

Anti-sniping

Car & Classic prevent auction snipers from bidding in the last seconds to win an auction.

Auctions are extended by 3 minutes if anyone bids within the last 2 minutes to allow other bidders to react and counter-bid.

Auto-bidding increments

  • If your maximum bid is equal to or below the reserve price, your maximum bid will be applied in full if you are the highest bidder.
  • If you are the highest bidder and place a maximum bid above the reserve, we will automatically put in the reserve as your first bid.
    • Once the reserve has been met, Car & Classic will make sure you are the highest bidder using only the bidding increments stated below.
