The Appeal

A quick websearch will reveal there are only a handful of these graceful Fletcher speed boats in existence, and all the others are nowhere near as nice as this one! This example has led a charmed life, always cared for and dry stored from 1991 to 2023; 32 years! Purchased at the 1988 Boat Show It has barely been used with only 105 hours on the Cruise log meter. It is thought that a good proportion of those hours were during servicing (annual running with fresh water). Used for a few family holidays from 1988 to 1991 it was then dry stored in Southampton before being removed and serviced in 2023. Lots of remedial work was carried out and a glance at the engine bay shows lots of new service items. There is no visible damage anywhere, either in the engine bay, cockpit or hull; this boat is in incredible condition.

Perfectly suited to lake running and water-ski towing, it is equally suited to rougher waters which is reported to handle with ease. In period the Fletchers were very successful in their class in offshore racing. Earlier this year it went from Southampton to Cowes and back without issue, and has recently had over £3,000 spent on parts and servicing.

Complete with its original Indespension Hallmark trailer (also in good condition) it is ready to go!
