The Appeal
Once a very common sight on European roads, the Fiat Tipo (Type 160) has now all but disappeared. While in 1989 this was the European Car of The Year, apart from the odd slowly disintegrating smoker, you simply don’t see them about anymore – especially in this kind of condition.
Owned by one family from new, this charming survivor has clearly been cherished and beautifully maintained, and is presenting in exceptional condition with extremely low mileage. If you love to see everyday cars transcend to become something truly rare and special, then this will very much be your thing.

Summary
It’s not often an average spec, everyday runaround is found in this kind of condition after 33 years of use. With such low mileage, and with bodywork that has clearly been well preserved in dry Italian climes, we think you’d struggle to find a nicer example of this wonderful everyday hero.
