The Appeal
Even in basic guises, the Peugeot 205 continually receives praise across the globe for its frills-free motoring fun, and its value for money. That said if you’re looking to experience Peugeot’s performance flair in one of its most engaging forms, the ever-adored 205 Rallye edition sits towards the top of the throne, nipping at the heels of the GTI, and T16.
Rallye editions were aimed at providing a more budget-friendly alternative to the likes of the GTI, utilizing clever weight-saving methods to provide a thoroughly enjoyable power-to-weight ratio. This particular 205 does, of course, follow in the Rallye’s footsteps, using a low mileage 1.1L 205 XL shell as the base for its restomod transformation.

The once frugal 1.1L original powerplant has also been replaced with a TU5J40 106 GTI engine, offering a truly grin-inducing driving experience.

- Converted to a Rallye restomod build in 2020, complete with a TU5J40 106 GTI engine
