Highlights
- Flame Red special edition
- Original John Cooper twin-carburettor kit fitted
- Mechanically improved for extra performance
The Appeal
A rare and delightful special edition of the Mini, this Flame Red edition is in superb condition inside and out, and has benefited from being fitted with John Cooper twin carburettors when new. It even comes with the original invoice from John Cooper Garages invoice, showing that this upgrade cost £972 back in 1990.
The car retains its fabulous original ‘crayon’ upholstery and even has Cooper steering wheel, pedals and gear knob. The exterior features ‘Flame Red’ branding which looks great on the well preserved red paintwork.
So this Mini really is a superb example of a well sorted car, with desirable original tuning and more recent mechanical upgrades. It will certainly perform well and should be an absolute riot to drive.
