The Appeal

The XJS is a remarkably distinctive classic. When most grand tourers today tend to merge into a rather generic, wind-tunnel-credited mass of mediocrity, the angular lines of the XJS feel exotic and stylish. If the car was stylish in its heyday, it's impossible to deny its impressive profile and influence today.

This example has had only three previous owners, the latter of which was the vendor's wife. It's recently been recommissioned at a cost of £21,000 and returned to the road, following an extended period of storage - and is still running beautifully.

With a highly attractive colour scheme and plenty of originality to boot, this is a highly desirable example of one of Jaguar's all-time most famous tourers.
