Six consecutive Rally Championship wins just go to show what a remarkable car the Integrale Evo 1 was and still is. This glorious 8-valve HF has been cherished and well-maintained and has benefitted from having a hybrid T34 turbo upgrade along with 16-valve ECU and engine wiring. Couple that with the snorty stainless exhaust system and the remote air filter and you have a truly exceptional Lancia on your hands.
The first owner exported the car to the second owner and the third owner has been the custodian for the last 21 years and was responsible for the upgrades and the fabulous condition you see the car in today. Garaged and used sparingly this 75,000-mile rarity isn’t going to hang around.
It should be noted that this is one of the rarer 8-valve Evo models made for the Swiss and German markets, as emissions from the 16-valve that the rest of the world received didn't pass their regulations.
There is a good deal of documented history, although not complete due to the present owner having the knowledge to work on the car himself. What invoices there are clearly show that the car has been lovingly maintained and has wanted for nothing while under the guardianship of the present owner. Many are from Lancia and performance specialists.
The cabin of the Lancia is just as it should be, except for the addition of a deeply dished Alcantara steering wheel. The dash is free from cracks and any noticeable marks and the instruments are clear and bright. The stalks on the steering column have had all the contacts overhauled by the owner and everything works as it should. A Bluetooth stereo has been the only modern upgrade to the dash. The seats have minimal wear and the bolsters are still firm and supportive.
The rear seats hardly seem to have been used. The headlining is clean and the electric sunroof operates fully. The carpets, which are protected by some rubber mats, are in remarkable condition with only a little bit of expected wear on the kick panels around the pedals. The door swabs are also original and in great condition. The boot is also clean and houses an original alloy space-saver and factory-supplied tool kit.
The bodywork is in lovely overall condition with only the merest amount of blemishes. Finished in probably the most popular colour scheme which has a nice deep shine. A tiny amount of blistering has started to show below the front screen rubber and there’s a small parking dent on the passenger wing. Both are very small and don’t detract from a car that doesn’t look 30 years of age.
There are common areas for corrosion to develop on an Integrale. Door closures and the exposed rear arch inside the rear doors are all suspect places, but all appear clean on this car. The Speedline wheels look almost new as they are unmarked and in lovely condition. The tyres too have a good amount of tread, although it wasn’t measured. The underside has not been fully inspected, but the photographs taken at ground level didn’t seem to reveal any issues.
It’s not just the looks of the Integrale that makes it desirable, it’s that engine too. Turbocharged twin cam 2 litre that pushes out just short of 200 horses is not to be sniffed at, and the noise! The addition of a sports filter and a 70mm Ragazzon stainless exhaust leads to a very sporty snort indeed. The original airbox will come with the car should it be preferred.
The present owner has improved driveability by upgrading the turbocharger which has reduced lag. There’s an ECU and injector upgrade too. The motor bursts into life straight off the key and settles into a quiet smooth tick-over. The all-important cambelt and water pump have been replaced, but can be done again before collection for that extra peace of mind.
The Integrale is one of those cars that has graced many a bedroom wall and now here’s a rare chance to buy one and take it from the wall and into your garage. Not made in huge numbers, to begin with, and a rare sight in any For Sale section, this Lancia is on most Petrol Head’s dream car list.
Aggressive looks with that not-so-subtle wide body and meshed front end. Always in left-hand drive which just adds to the kudos of owning the rally giant that is the Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione. Nothing more needs to be said, does it?

About Max Bids
The max bid process allows you to bid without any hassle.
Enter your maximum bid and we will then bid on your behalf to ensure you're the highest bidder - just enough to keep you in the lead and only up until your maximum.
Anti-sniping
C&C prevent auction snipers from bidding in the last seconds to win an auction.
Auctions are extended by 3-minutes if anyone bids within the last 2 minutes to allow other bidders to react and counter-bid.
Auto-bidding increments
If your maximum bid is equal to or below the reserve price, your maximum bid will be applied in full if you are the highest bidder.
If you are the highest bidder and place a maximum bid above the reserve, we will automatically put in the reserve as your first bid.
Once the reserve has been met, Car & Classic will make sure you are the highest bidder using only the bidding increments stated below.
We will keep you in the lead up until your maximum bid OR the increment closest to your maximum bid, providing your maximum bid is enough to cover the increment value.

Automatically outbid immediately
When you place a max bid and are outbid immediately that means that another bidder has placed a max bid limit which is higher than yours. You can bid again and we will use our automatic bid system to try and get you as the highest bidder.
Matching max bids
When there are two max bids of the same value, the one placed first remains the lead bidder.
What are pre-bids?
A pre-bid means you’re able to place a bid before the official start of the auction.
You will be notified whether or not you are the highest bidder when the auction starts.
Problem with your bid
Bids are contractually binding. To help protect you, we have some rules in place if we think it's been mistyped. Please check and amend what you have entered.
