Equipped with a trick, all-wheel drive system, legendary turbocharged engine (4G63T) and deep bolstered seats, this car isn't just epically fun, but superbly practical too with ample boot space, 4 doors and all the creature comforts one might need including air conditioning.
Good condition throughout with no significant wear despite of age
Usual fading to seats often seen on similar models but not excessive or unsightly - Seat bolsters are in good order and still fairly tight and cared for
Rear seats have seen little use and generally in very good order
Door card fabric on all four doors needs attention due to the glue failing but a relatively simple fix
Interior plastics are in nice nick with minimal wear or marks
OMP steering wheel fitted
Head lining does not appear to be sagging but would benefit from a good clean as would other areas of the interior
Good overall shine and nice straight panels for the most part Some age related marks and a small dent on the drivers wing near the headlamp - Headlamps and tail lamps appear to be in good order and moisture free Aftermarket wheels are in reasonable order with some kerbing. These would benefit from a refurbishment Lancer badge missing from the passenger side rear quarter panel Stainless steel exhaust is well suited to the car and has evidently been fitted for some time Large rear wing with a Ralli Art decal on the top side
Very original under the bonnet with minor changes such as the air filter and oil filler cap Front and rear disc brakes fitted with no excessive wear apparent Stainless exhaust system fitted from the catalytic converter to the rear in reasonable condition with a repair towards the rear The underside is very good with just light surface corrosion as is typical with Japanese cars and would simply benefit from a clean and protectant The suspension seems unmodified from what we could tell, with standard underpinnings Nice dry engine underside with no evidence of oil or water leaks at the time of inspection
A very solid car in an overall nice condition. Some detailing and general attention wouldn't go amiss and would take this car to the next level. Generally these cars see heavy modifications and abuse but this car has escaped that treatment and could, with a small amount of time be made a very nice indeed!
This car is immensely rare and would not only be an appreciating asset but a huge amount of fun, shaming modern cars in the right situation.
