The Appeal
We adore sports bikes of this era.
Entering its power band between 7,500 and 10,000 rpm, the naturally aspirated, four-cylinder Yamaha FZR 400 offers a visceral riding experience that's hard to match.
This 1997 example, with only 17,000 km on the clock, offers a rare opportunity to own a well-preserved piece of Yamaha's storied history. Recently imported from Germany, this bike is ready for historic registration in any EU country.

We're informed that the bike has recently undergone a comprehensive service and tune-up, ensuring it runs very well indeed. A new battery ensures it starts easily and is ready to ride. The vendor just notes that the tyres are a little old - although show plenty of tread. The paintwork shows some wear consistent with its age, but the bike has no significant structural damage, making it a sound basis to use and improve over time
