The Appeal
The appeal of the Mk4 Golf was that it brought real material and build quality into the family car segment. Smooth and refined, the Mk4 drove like a car from the segment above.
Nowadays, they make excellent modern classics. Parts are plentiful and inexpensive, while they still very much feel like a substantially built, well engineered modern car.
This particular example is equipped with the rare automatic transmission and comes with exceptionally low mileage, verified by the MOT record, and just 3 owners from new.
