The Appeal
If you love the physical interactivity of properly driving a car, then a small sports car or roadster is what you need. Many companies in the UK have offered kits to turn humdrum family cars into fun track machines and weekend B-road burners. But Robin Hood’s USP was the idea that all you needed was a donor vehicle and their kit and you had everything you need. No need to source parts or scavenge in breaker’s yards.
This example – one of their 2B kits – has been built to a very high standard. Based on a 2-litre Pinto engined Ford Sierra, it has been carefully modified and enhanced to create a brilliant little sports car. If you’re looking for a track day car, or just something fun to wheel out of the garage on sunny days, then this has to be on your list.
