1968 Triumph GT6 MK I. Wedgewood Blue with Black Upholstery. A stunning nut and bolt body and chassis restoration was carried out by the last owner of 11 years and the car has completed just 300 miles since. MK I GT6’s are now becoming very rare and this particular car has had just 3 owners in total during its life of 53 years. No expense was spared in the rebuild and the car is just as good underneath as on top. The body was removed from the chassis and fully prepared for paintwork with the chassis being treated at the same time, as you will see in the pictures everything was either repaired, rebuilt or replaced as necessary. The interior is all new and all of the chrome work re-plated and a new set of wire wheels complete the look. The engine is very strong and married to a manual gearbox is immense fun to drive with the six cylinder engine producing plenty of power and still a quick car in modern day terms. The Triumph comes complete with a huge history file full of bills and invoices detailing all of the parts purchased during the rebuild and will make some interesting night time reading, but it make take a while. Although now tax and mot exempt a fresh mot will be applied upon sale for your own peace of mind. Very seldom do we find cars that have received this much attention and this is a car that any collector or enthusiast would be very proud to own.
