The 2001 Launch of the 'E65' 7 series saw a drastic departure for BMW from the conservative styling of its 'E38' predecessor. The design was heavily criticised and it was like nothing that has been seen before from the German manufacturer. It was also the first BMW to feature the 'iDrive' system with a centrally mounted dial to control most of the cars interior features. In 2005 the car was facelifted, toning down the controversial front and rear styling giving us the handsome car we see here today.
Supplied to its first owner on May 5th 2005 by Sytner High Wycombe, he retained ownership of the car until 2019 covering just over 10, 000 miles. Finished in attractive Kalahari Beige with Beige Leather, complemented by high gloss walnut trim. The condition of the car is absolutely exceptional with very little evidence of use. As you would expect the car drives like new and gives a true luxury experience with a cosseting ride and minimal road and wind noise. You would be hard pushed to find a more pleasant way to travel. With 218 BHP, a whopping 520nm of torque and over 40 mpg easily achievable this car is just dying to munch up some miles as it was made to do.
