This 964 is a lesson in how to enhance an already great 911.
Take the best bits of a Carrera 2 and simply make them better….. the result is knocking on the door of the 964 RS experience.
The feeling you get when you’re behind the wheel is pure, unmistakable 911. It looks just right, sounds great, is lightweight and responsive. Money has been spent in all the right places. It offers RS style adventures, but benefits from better road-going manners and is not too precious to enjoy to the full.
Accompanied by a comprehensive folder of MOT certificates, invoices and receipts, with evidence of 19 services, plus much other maintenance. The most recent service was a major with spark plugs, drive belts and brake fluid, carried out here at Williams Crawford just 500 miles ago.
Highlights include:
* Complete engine build 4, 775 miles ago.
* Lightweight flywheel and RS clutch
* KW Variant 3 adjustable suspension.
* Body coloured Recaro Pole Position bucket seats
* Schroth 4 point harnesses
* Lightweight door cards and carpets
* Rear seat delete
* Momo steering wheel
* Fire extinguisher.
* Exhaust bypass
* Performance chip
* Polybushed front wishbones
* Refurbished alloys (2021)
UK (C16) spec, supplied in June 1990 by Dutton-Forshaw, Porsche Official Dealer in London.
Having dealt with Porsche for 30 years, it’s rare to find them like this. The 964 Carrera 2 is already a desirable choice, but this one, enhanced as completely and thoroughly as it is, makes so much sense. The investment, both in time and money, has already been made. You get to enjoy it right away without the wait.
This is at the higher end of our Condition Grade 3, currently needing nothing, but somebody to drive and enjoy it.
