Here we now have available a true Corvette Indianapolis 500 pace car. This corvette has only covered 36, 000 miles with lots of history, bills etc , also includes the sales window sticker. This,  I believe is a true collector as there are possibly less than half of the 6502 pace cars produced still in existence.


The Exterior. 

Can only be described as stunning, when we saw the car In Florida I knew it was a car that we could make special again. All the decals have been removed and a brand new set have been fitted (the door decals will be fitted if you require). The front left part of the front spoiler was cracked, rather than repair we have fitted a brand new full 3 piece spoiler. We have fitted all the rear lights with brand new ones. The tyres are all matching and are superb. The wheels are the OE alloys in fantastic condition. A complete brand new factory exhaust system has recently been fitted. All the  brakes have recently been replaced. All the underbody just looks like a 59, 000 mile car should very clean and dry. The spare wheel is there and correct along with the jack and brace. The car sits in the perfect stance with no sagging like some corvettes out there. It drives absolutely superb. We have fitted a brand new fuel gauge sender unit. This is a corvette for  a serious buyer.


 The interior. 

We have fitted, not just new seat covers but new covers on brand new foams professionally installed on the rarer 4" foams for a better seating stance. We have fitted a complete full carpet set , brand new rear compartment main frame and all 3 small frames. With have fitted nrand new door panels, door bezels and armrests. We have fitted a brand new speedo/ tach lens due to a 1" crack. The seat buckets have been disassembled and repainted in the correct colour. The mirror glas tops match and are perfect and the bags are here along with the hold down straps. There is a superb aftermarket sound system fitted along with speaker upgrades. Power window  power door locks work perfect . Now 1978 Corvettes never had a power Seat option this Corvette does have a power seat which had been professionally Fitted which included a new floor pan to accommodate the seat base and to keep both seat backs level, the power seatworks perfect. We have replaced , the T top , door mains , front and rear vertical weather strip seals.
