Reluctantly up for sale is our 1991-J Honda CRX 1. 6 VTEC in arguably the best and most sought after colour Celestial Blue.

Supplied and registered new in 1991 by Torbay Honda - Paigton.
The First Private owner kept the car for 6 Months and sold it back to Honda.

It was then bought by its 2nd Owner in March 1992 from Snowdon Honda - Devon when it had covered approx 4k Miles.
A Lady owner that absolutely loved the car and cherished it for almost 3 decades..!!

She had owned the car for the last 28 Years and it was sold to us in 2020 due to the owners passing.

Current mileage stands at just over 110k Miles which is well below average considering the cars age. Barely done 1000 Miles in the last 8 Years.

The 2nd Owners kept the car in the UK until 2002-03 when they emigrated to South France and took the car with them. Up to that point it had a FULL HONDA SERVICE HISTORY with a record of 9 Services (Last at 51k miles) all stamped in its original Honda Service Book as well as Invoices.

Whilst in France it had always been highly maintained. We have a folder Full of Invoices showing Maintenance carried out by Honda and Local garages. Some recent work includes:

16/ 10/ the details below Controle Technique
25/ 10/ the details below Replace steering linkage bushes, rear brake discs/ pads
09/ 06/ the details below Replace alternator
07/ 08/ the details below Replace timing belt/ water pump etc
18. 08/ the details below Replace brake master cylinder.

A few years ago the interior was re-upholstered and still looks nice and fresh.
The CRX is all standard with no Modifications. The Stereo has been replaced with an aftermarket item however the original is included in the sale.

We bought the car and had it transported from France and its sat in our showroom ever since. It is now Fully UK Registered and back on its Original Number Plate that it had from new. We even have the Original Honda Number Plates and Honda Dealer Key rings with the car - not to mention the all Important 'RED KEY'. Also has all its Original Manuals / Pouch and 2 Keys.
MOT expires October 2021 (No Advisories)

Usual Spec Includes: Legendary 1. 6 16v VTEC B16a engine, 5-Speed, Leather Interior, Electric Windows / Mirrors / Sunroof (Tilts but doesn't open fully), AIRCON, Rear Spoiler, Original 14" Alloys.

Having owned and been around CRXs for over 20+ Years we can honestly say that they are becoming hard to come by and especially with Low Mileage / Ownership and provenance as this.

A Dream to drive and still turns heads.

The plan was to keep it for some time however as always lack of use and storage means it is being offered for sale. We currently own another CRX VTEC in Red that is also being advertised as we couldn't decide which one to keep hold of and which to sell therefore offering both for sale, for now.. However they may be pulled off sale if we have a change of heart ????
