A little history. We purchased this motor car directly from its last Jaguar enthusiast private owner. The car has had 2 private keepers from new, 1 other motor trade plus us.

This 2000 model year Jaguar is a genuine, honest and original time warp low mileage example having spent most of its life parked up safe and undisturbed in a garage, the car was finally laid up and mothballed in 2005 by a previous keeper, just 5 years into its life. The car does not suffer from any corrosion as its been kept dry and under cover for so much of its life.

In 2018 the car was pulled out of the garage from its deep sleep and sold. The then new keeper took the car for a MOT and as you can see from the MOT history it needed a fair amount of recommissioning to bring it back to the extremely high standard we see now and can appreciate today. Unfortunately the passage of time, the lack of use and changes in temperature caused many rubber components to perish, between 2005 and 2020 all of which have been addressed regardless of cost.

Eventually the previous keeper after spending vast sums of money with a Jaguar specialist garage, all documented within its service history file finally took the car in April 2000 for an MOT which it passed with flying colours. We will of course furnish this motor car with a full clean independent MOT before it leaves us and enters a new chapter with a new proud owner.

Since we have owned the car further work has been carried out to make the car as near to concours as you will ever find. This work includes, new fibreglass headliner with plush luxury oatmeal cloth, new battery, full major service & inspection, new abs rear wheel sensors, new rear brake pads, x4 new tyres, wheel alignment, x4 alloy wheel tyres off full refurbishment (powder coated), new period standard equipment radio fitted complete with code, interior deep clean and leather hide food treatment applied, full detailed exterior valet, machine polish and ceramic coating applied, new front and rear number plates.

We appreciate generally most Jaguar S-Types now through age, lack of correct maintenance, varied ownership and mistreatment have succumb to a very undignified final few years, please do not confuse our car with an example such as this. This car is not the cheapest in the market place but we believe switched on customers / collectors will see this car has had everything it wants and requires and is just ready to enjoy.
