1932 Alvis Speed 20 with Speed 25 engine SOLD
Chassis 9843, Engine 14092. 1932 Alvis Speed 20 Tourer fitted with the 3571 cc engine as used in the later Speed 25 models & the very rare Alvis Silver Crest gearbox. The body is an original Vanden-plas (number1796) which was once fitted to Alvis Speed 20 chassis 9849. This original Coachwork has been restored to a high standard and although an older restoration the paintwork is excellent but with a certain amount of patina.
The Alvis is in very good all round condition with recent suspension & brakes rebuild, new fuel tank & reconditioned coach trim. There is a folding roof with full side screens in good condition, recent new Blockley tyres, reconditioned magneto & distributor, new wiring, excellent coachwork & paint. This car was well known when owned by David Rouse and been recently used sucessfully for VSCC hill climbing at Wiscombe, Prescott and Shelsley Walsh.

Hat ein Faltdach mit kompletten Seitenscheiben in gutem Zustand, Blockley-Reifen, überholten Magnetzünder und Verteiler, neue Verkabelung, ausgezeichnete Karosserie und Lackierung. Wurde erfolgreich für VSCC Hill Climbing in Wiscombe, Prescott und Shelsley Walsh eingesetzt.
