This car is fully electric with NO engine present. BMW quote 223 miles on a full charge but living in the real world, you can expect 175 miles as you shall be using features such as Climate Control, Radio etc. Overnight charging at home (although cheap on off-peak times can cost you as little as £2 to fully charge) can take a very long time as its charging at circa 3kwh.

Therefore, we suggest paying circa £6 and using the more powerful public 50kwh chargers located all around you where it charges you fully within an hour!! You can shop, email or text some friends or enjoy a cup of coffee somewhere whilst the fast charge takes place. It sounds like a nightmare, but we have much experience with electric cars now and it really does work and is the most inexpensive way of travelling today!!

Many supermarkets such as Tesco offer free charging at 7kwh whilst you shop which is a huge bonus, meaning you shall get roughly 20-30 miles charge whilst you’re shopping and for free!! You also get to park right outside the entrance which is a bonus too!!
