Another car from my far too big collection that I have decided to sell.
It just doesn’t get the use justified, for such a beautiful luxury car.
2000 Daimler Eight V8 X308 model Long wheel base. Finished in Seafrost over natural piped green leather and green carpets. It has every option you can think of including rear reading lights and picnic tables. Electric memory heated seats and this has the full back seat option ( some are only 2 seats)
107, 000 miles for a car of this age is very low & given it is 22 years old this represents under 5, 000 miles a Year.
HOWEVER, at 85, 249 it had a new engine fitted by the Jaguar Workshop noted in the service book. Therefore just over 20, 000 miles have been completed since this replacement.
It has a very good service and MOT history and is a very honest clean example, with 4 former keepers, the first being a PLC Company.

The car does require so paintwork (part of the reason I have reduced so much) nothing too serious, just age related marks & a little corrosion that needs attention to bring the car back to immaculate. I can get this arranged within the price or negotiate if somebody wishes to do this work themselves. Had welding on sills for last MOT which needs painting to refinish properly. Head lining has sagged, again can negotiate on this.
Very few of these were produced, just 2119 relative to many more Jaguar derivatives and therefore are quite rare today, this would suit enthusiast.

You may want to consider replacing certain service items, due to age.
Any further reconditioning can be undertaken at favourable rates at your own expense.

You must appreciate a car of this age may have wear in components and some items may not work as efficiently
as they did when the car was new. Obviously it is reflected in the price and depreciation of a vehicles value and
buying a used car is often based on an overall impression with a little comprise for minor issues.
