This is a true time warp, a low ownership Vauxhall Cavalier Convertible Automatic with an unrepeatable 8500 miles from new. This is an incredibly original car, supplied new to ‘The Patrick Collection’ and first registered on the 21st July 1986. The Vauxhall spent from 1986 to 2004 in the collection and maintenance has been logged from new. The car was sold in 2004 through Bonhams and then spent 12 years with one owner in Burton on Trent before changing hands in 2016, registered to a lady in Ringwood, Hampshire. During the cars early life, most of its time was spent in the Birmingham based Museum, and towards the end of its time with the Patrick Collection it was used for publicity visits to local schools in the local area. When the car was sold in 2004, it had covered a warranted 7146 miles from new.
The second owner bought the vehicle as an investment and kept the Vauxhall dry stored but due to the loss of his storage in 2016, sold the car to the most recent owner. Prior to selling the car, the brakes were re-commissioned, the car was put through an MOT and it was then driven to Hampshire by its third and most recent owner. On arrival in Hampshire, the car was treated to new tyres (spare still the unused original), drive belts were replaced, oils and filters changed and ever since, the car has been serviced each year and has arrived with us in exceptional condition with just 8500 miles covered from new.

Over the six years of ownership, the Vauxhall has passed its MOT test every August with no advisories and is in excellent mechanical order throughout.

C867 GOM has spent more time dry stored than on the road, so as expected, the bodyshell is exceptional with no corrosion issues. The body and underside have never required work, the paintwork has a clean, impressive finish and the upholstery is that of an 8500 mile from new time warp. The hood is in excellent condition, and its overall condition throughout is commensurate with such low mileage. This is quite possibly the very best Vauxhall Cavalier Convertible in existence, and will no doubt attract the interest for collection purposes. The car comes with an impressive file of paperwork to include original brochures, original handbooks, manuals and service book, old tax discs, MOT's, maintenance log from the Patrick Collection and some receipts. Still displaying its 1980's Patrick Collection number plates, this is a true collectors piece and somewhat of an unrepeatable opportunity.

After weeks of thinking I would like to advertise the cavalier to gauge the interest. This 1978 cavalier 2.0s has been very well preserved in its life and recently recommissioned by myself to make it a useable classic. I have had calipers reconditioned, new brakes and full service carried out including gearbox oil, ...

1992 Vauxhall Cavalier CDI – petrol, manual. A very tidy car…husband and wife ownership since new (except for a couple of months at the beginning of its life where we understand it was a dealer demonstrator car). It’s been dry garaged for the last 4 years as sadly the lady we purchased it from is no longer able to ...
