1961 Aston Martin DB4 Series IV For Sale
This stunning Aston Martin finished in Dubonnet was supplied new to 'Brooklands' New Bond Street, London on 19. 1. 1962 who then went on and sold it to Ken Rudd, a well known racing driving on 19. 2. 1962.
This Aston Martin series IV is one of only 228 made. Beautifully presented and is finished in a colour called 'Dubonnet' and has a wonderful original and unrestored Grey leather interior complete with red carpets. All paintwork and interior are in excellent condition. The Registration number is original and the car is a matching numbers vehicle.
Vehicle shut lines are excellent, all panels are excellent, chassis is first class. This truly is a magnificent example of a DB4.
Absolutely superb to drive and a real pleasure to drive too! Four speed manual gearbox with factory fitted overdrive which is very smooth to operate. The engine and exhaust note is distinctive and crisp.
Comprehensive history file going right back to original ownership and complete with lots of historical paperwork, bills & receipts for the work carried out in past years.
Just recently, January 2022, this car has been fully serviced using only genuine Aston Martin parts and comes with a clean bill of health. Recent works include; A full and comprehensive service by a leading classic car technician. A newly uprated Aston Martin radiator complete with temperature controlled fan; new water pump; new thermostat; Cylinder head removed and machined including both exhaust manifolds; new head gasket fitted plus all other gaskets on top half of engine replaced during the servicing.
This beautifully presented Aston Martin awaits it’s new custodian to whom it won't disappoint.
