Here for sale is our absolutely stunning Triumph stag with only 52, 900 miles warranted and only 2 previous owners from new! The previous owner had owned the car 42 years! And has always been dry stored and only used on nice days. The car is finished in beautiful mimosa yellow and is in excellent condition throughout. It has an extensive history file including old MOT’s, invoices and just general paperwork. The soft top is also in lovely condition, the car comes with a hard top which again is in excellent condition. The car has a automatic gearbox which changes gear faultlessly and is also very smooth. This car really needs to be seen to be appreciated as it’s very hard to find a Triumph Stag this nice in today’s world.

OVERVIEW
The Triumph Stag should have been a world-beater. After all, with its sharp lines, four-seater convertible configuration and V8 power, how could it fail? Here was a car that could transport the whole family – with their luggage – in top-down style. It sounded glorious and there was no shortage of go either, thanks to that torquey 3. 0-litre powerplant. The triumph stag was a very advanced car for its time with it having electric windows, power assisted steering, it could come with both soft top and hard top, and could come in manual or automatic.

BODYWORK & INTERIOR
The car is finished in beautiful mimosa yellow with black vinyl interior and is in excellent condition throughout. The soft top is also in lovely condition, the car comes with a hard top which again is in excellent condition.

MECHANICS
The initial Stag design was based on the saloon's 2. 5-litre six cylinder engine, but Webster intended the Stag, large saloons and estate cars to use a new Triumph-designed overhead cam 2. 5-litre fuel injected V8. In 1968, under the direction of Webster's successor, Spen King, the new 2. 5 PI V8 was enlarged to 2, 997 cc to increase torque.
