The Corvette C2 is called the Sting Ray, because of its resemblance to the beautiful animal. The Corvette designed in the wind tunnel was immediately available with a V8 and the use of a fibreglass body kept the weight within limits. The C2 Sting Ray is seen by many as the most beautiful Corvette of the entire series. In 1964 the ‘spine’ disappears from the rear window, causing the nickname ‘Split Window’ to disappear.

This bright blue coupé dates from 1966, so it is one with a single rear window. A beautifully lined coupé where the paint colour combines well with the fresh shiny chrome. The plastic body is in excellent condition with all panels nice and tight, doors close nicely and all details are perfectly mounted. The car has already been provided with a new coat of paint in the original colour. A very sparkling car, which will remain on your retina.
Characteristic of Corvettes of this generation is the very colourful interiors. Either they are executed in a perfectly matching colour, or a great contrast has been chosen. With this Nassau Blue Sting Ray it is clear that they have gone for an almost similar blue metallic interior. The ‘blue on blue’ theme is, in one word, fantastic. The contrast with some black panels on the dashboard and lots of aluminium (coloured) details makes the interior a great place to spend time, with the big wooden steering wheel in your hands and your right foot on the pedal to drive the big 327 V8 with 304 pk to great deeds.
The V8 sounds and performs as you would expect from a muscle car like this, with the engine transferring power to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission. The already mentioned 304 hp in combination with an impressive torque of 488 Nm, which is still impressive today, ensure spectacular performance. The sprint to 100 km/ h takes only fractionally more than 6. 5 seconds, the intermediate sprints with the C2 are even more impressive. It provides spectacle and above all a grin from ear to ear.
The car also comes with a stack of invoices and documents, as well as an owner’s manual. In terms of maintenance, the C2 is neat and ready for a new chapter with a new owner.

A Corvette C2 that you can immediately enjoy to the fullest, whether driving while you can clearly hear the 5. 4 litre V8 do its work, or enjoying it in your garage to take in the beautiful design.
