The final version of the original Issigonis designed classic Mini was produced from 1996 to 2000 and featured twin point fuel injection, a front mounted radiator and for safety - a drivers airbag, side impact protection and seat belt pre tensioners were fitted for the first time.

The 1998 registered car we are pleased to offer is the higher specification Cooper finished in Flame Red with contrasting white roof, door mirrors and bonnet stripes. You will also notice that the car was ordered with the optional Sports Pack, as fitted to the final 500 LE models. This pack gives you larger colour coded wheel arch extensions, 13” x 6” sports style alloy wheels with 175/ 50 R13 low profile tyres, 2 driving and 2 spot lamps and additional gauges.
Inside, standard features include the full width burr walnut facia with glovebox, radio cassette, drilled sports accelerator pedal, leather steering wheel and gear shift knob. Optional interior features ordered on this car from new include full black leather seats and burr walnut door and rear quarter cappings to compliment the dashboard.

Most importantly, our car has had just one registered owner from new and has covered just 14, 000 miles.
Recently recommissioned following a long period of dry storage the car is in a superb original, unrestored condition with all original panels and trim and showing only the very slightest signs of age – the paintwork gleams and appears to be all original too with the interior still looking and smelling like new. Within the recommissioning programme, the tyres have been replaced with a new set of Yokahamas with the originals being kept for the new keeper if required. On the road the car appeared quite bouncy and it was found the rubber suspension cones had gone hard with age and had very little give - these have been replaced with the addition of a new set of Bilstein shock absorbers with the suspension set up and aligned correctly.

This is a great opportunity for someone – rarely do low mileage, one owner original Minis in this condition and specification come available. The car has the original document pack, radio code and spare key ready to pass on to the new owner.
