Description
1973 Condor 350.
These Swiss built motorcycles use the Ducati 350 bevel drive 350 single cylinder engine.
This one, being a 1973 model has the Italian built motor, as later production was moved to Spain.
Condor lower the compression and change the cam shaft to reduce power but increase reliability. They also fit a large external oil filter and rubber mount the engine in their own frame.
The result is a very useable and easy to live with classic motorcycle.
Starts easily and runs very well, does not burn oil and everything works exactly as it should.
It is just over 50 years old so it is impossible to say what the actual mileage and it has had a replacement smiths speedo at some point. But it feels fresh and healthy, so I guess the mileage is either low, or if has had a rebuild at some time.
Most of these bikes were built for the Swiss army so would have been matt army green. This one has been changed to civilian trim with gloss paint and many chrome or polished parts.
It has the addition of the decompressor that was always fitted to the Ducati but not to the Condor for some reason. This makes it way easier to start.
It is registered as a Historic Vehicle so is MOT and Tax exempt.
It is at PE13 5JG, you are welcome to come and take a good look.
