This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The Iconic Motorcycle Sale at the NEC Classic Motor Show 2025 on Sunday the 9th of November, NEC, Birmingham, B40 1NT.
The 1098 was the successor to the Ducati 999 and only in production for two years between 2007 and 2009
Built in three versions including the 1098S and the 1098R
To celebrate the third World Superbike Championship for Troy Bayliss (all with Ducati) the factory produced a limited edition model in his honour
The Troy Bayliss Edition was limited to only 500 examples and featured a Troy Bayliss paint scheme, Termignoni exhaust, titanium valves and Ohlins suspension
This example is #335 of the 500 examples produced and presents in very good overall condition and in running order
Showing only 8, 157 recorded miles and benefiting from a recent recommission and fresh MOT until September 2026
Mostly original and unrestored and fitted with some quality Ducati race components
Complete with standard exhaust system, service and owners manual, two keys, owners plaque and original screen
Same owner for last eight years with only two previous keepers
