The straight 4-cylinder 1548cc engine is in very good condition and, after a full service and some driving, has no issues. 40650 miles on the clock.
The bodywork is in fantastic condition considering the car is 94 years old.
The interior is remarkable for its age and, rather than lose the authenticity by stripping and replacing, we have treated and reconditioned it all.
All electrics are in working order and the chassis has no damage/ rust etc.
Once owned by Captain Ian McLeod of the 6th Armoured Division Column. The Captain counted Mike Hawthorn (U. K. s first Formula 1 World Champion) as a close friend and, with his help, supercharged Ferdinand. After supercharging Ferdinand the Captain raced it at Le Mans without permission, leading to his discharge from the services.
