1925 Vintage Special Model A Ford Chevrolet *with V5c* SOLD

Reluctantly selling the project car I've been building, loosely based on a 1920's/ 1930's American dirt track racer.

It's a Model T Ford chassis, Model A Ford axles and Chevrolet engine and gearbox, all vintage parts. The body tub is built, and just needs finishing once mounted on the chassis.

+ The engine runs, and is basically the same as a Model A Ford, but with 'value-in-head' (i. e. overhead valves). It's 2. 8 litre (171 Cubic Inch) capacity, 4 cylinder with a three speed gearbox, so will have loads of torque. It runs, though would benefit from a bigger carburetor, or two. I spent £1000 last year getting the head sorted. It is the twin exhaust port (rather than single exhaust port, extra 5bhp!). I had it cleaned, the face skimmed, NOS valves installed, and the outside painted.
+ The gearbox has been rebuilt, with new bearings.
The rear axle has been rebuilt and converted to an open drive shaft configuration (rather than a torque tube).
+ The front brakes are built, the rear brakes are half rebuilt.
+ The steering is 80% done, just waiting to confirm the seating position before finalizing the steering wheel height and final mounting points.
+ The next main task is to mount the brake cross-shaft (I have all the stuff for it), then the body can be finalized and it'll start acting like a car.

I think the gearing would give you 70mph from my rough calculations. This could easily be adjusted with a different Model A Ford crown wheel and pinion ratio in the back axle (these are readily available).

It is registered in the UK (I have the US export papers for the chassis as well), so as soon as you have 'finished' building her, you can drive her on the road! I have all the receipts and documentation for the vehicle so far.

Any questions, send me a message.
I am willing to split the kit into a couple of lots, depending what you want.
I'm also willing to consider a part exchange, make me an offer.
If you're really serious, viewings can easily be arranged.
I have lots more pictures, or if you want pictures of anything in particular, let me know.
I do have a video of the engine running as well.
Here are the details, I'm sure I've missed some parts/ spares;
