History

ABVWC was created in 1987
Aimed at owners of all VW air & water cooled models
Also welcomes associated marques, including Porsche, Audi, SEAT, Skoda
National organisation created by grouping several individual VW Clubs
Each individual Club retains its own identity, traditions and methods
Continual growth over the years - now 73 separate Clubs
Represents almost 6000 enthusiasts nationwide
Probably the largest VW group representation in the UK
