Description
Thank you for looking at my MGB GT. First Registered 1st August 1981 in Kent, this car was one of the last few registered. A fantastic car that has covered 83, 483 miles as of its new MOT issued 9th August 2024 (Expires 21st August 2025) No real history however the general condition of the car tells the story that the mileage etc is genuine. I have owned the car since October of 2023 and loved every moment of it. A change in circumstances means the MG needs to find a new caring home. I have replaced the seat belts for red 3 point supplied from the MG owners club along with a new ignition switch. Changed the Oil, Oil Filter, and coolant, along with a couple switches inside the car. Carbs were renewed August last year. This car has a working overdrive in 3rd and 4th gear! Please feel free to contact me for more information or more detailed pictures. No structural issues however there is some bubbling in the previously painted body work. A very usable everyday car and, should you wish to repaint, a great base to start. Car is available to view, close to the New Forest in Hampshire. Open to close offers, way out offers will waste both yours and my time. I had a classic Rover P5B for the previous nine years and sold it due to an expensive MOT fail. I missed the classic car life and had always had a hankering for an MGB GT. The Rover was like the St Bernard who would come up the mountain to rescue you with a big barrel of brandy round his neck. The MGB GT is like the Jack Russel that chased you up the mountain in the first place!!
