Description
the past you saw them in every street, or you knew someone who had or had one. Nowadays disappeared from the streets, a Diamond white Ford Taunus TC2 2 doors from March 1976. This is an original Dutch car, equipped with a 1. 6 pinto engine that runs on petrol and LPG (also on the registration).
The car was in the possession of the first owner until 2021 (the service booklet is also present!). It has not been on the road since 1990, and in the meantime it has been dry inside waiting for a new owner.
The engine runs, but of course needs a service before you can drive it (parts are included). It has already received a new timing belt. The brakes still need to be checked. One brake caliper has already been made usable with new seals and rubbers. The other still needs to be (parts are included).
The interior is still quite neat for the age of 48. The driver's seat has some minimal entry damage.
The body is also still very good for its age. From day one it has been heavily waxed and tectyled. It looks like the car has never been welded. On the rear wheel rims and around the headlights some youth spots (rust formation) are developing.
The paint is still neat considering its age, some damage has been removed on the left and right with a touch-up pen.
In short, a nice oldtimer to prepare and enjoy! You can't drive cheaper! Road tax free and in 2 years also MOT free. Not a concours car, so absolutely don't expect a new one. The car is said to have run 147, 000 km. the past you saw them in every street, or you knew someone who had or had one.
