This example has also been through the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur program with the centre console, seat backs and door trims all painted in exterior colour. Automatic Climate Control and heated seats add to the cars appeal of being a lovely place to sit in all conditions. Exhaust has been changed to a stainless steel aftermarket system in October 2024, calibrated with a "mild" set-up it sounds great without distorting the classic Porsche howl or being too loud. I work for Porsche and have always loved the idea of owning a 911. This 996 caught my eye after spotting the exterior colour and interior combination which to my taste has aged really well. The seat backs colour coded to the body is an instant eye catcher and makes the car seem very special even at a glance. The Tiptronic transmission was not my first choice but after driving the car for just over 4, 000 miles I have come to enjoy it and how smooth and easy it is for every day driving. Once warm up, the manual control of the gearbox works well and you can enjoy the car to its full extent on a great road. The sunroof has been a great addition during the warmer weather too with some drives out to Norfolk being some of the best driving I have had in the car.
