I bought the car from Morris Minors Oxford in 2013. She is effectionally known as Lulu (another old girl from the 1960's). Over the years I have maintained Lulu carrying out what was necessary to keep her performing to her best. I have numerous receipts to demonstrate that history. Last year she earned a deserved cylinder head rebuild by the skilled hands of Tom Roy with hardened valves and seats to equip her for unleaded petrol. A crankshaft regrind, new shells and piston rings ensuring her superb smooth running performance continued.
Her interior is not original but is bright and comfortable. She benefits from new headlining.
Underneath she is structurally sound. The spring hangers are good, although I feel she would benefit from new springs and bushes (the one task not completed whilst in my care). The diff is exceptionally quiet. She was treated to a new clutch and linkage when the engine was out being rebuilt.
Before I bought her she was a daily driver demonstrated by mot certificates. I have enjoyed her company any seeing her blossom into the fine machine she is today. She certainly sings in tune as she rocks along the road. It is unfortunate that due to ill health that I offer her for sale. I hope to find someone who will cherish her as much as I have.
