For sale: MV Agusta 125 Grand Prix racing motorcycle registered in 1949/ 50, restored in 2018, engine serial no. 93/ 4, frame no. 17725/ 4, 4 gears, SS 25A carburettor with a separate float bowl, special cylinder kit, cantilever rear shock absorber, 12/ 15 L aluminium tank, steel frame and exhaust, aluminium cylinder head and barrel, 15 tooth front sprocket, 42 tooth rear sprocket, short-reach spark plug, 59 cm handlebar, wheelbase 127 cm, aluminium drums (190 mm front, 130 mm rear).
Grease fittings on the joints. Original paint and colour, real leather saddle. Brand new tyres, Borrani 21" rims. Fully restored to showroom condition.
Never ridden on public roads or track, but always started and warmed up.
Authentic MV Agusta 125 Corsa produced between 1949 and 1950, one of the early competition models from the Cascina Costa di Samarate works in Varese.
A very rare example, fully restored in 2018 with full faithfulness to the original specifications, today in impeccable condition and fully functional.
The bike has never been ridden on the road or on a circuit: only started periodically for maintenance and mechanical preservation.
Completely restored in 2018, with every detail brought back to new:
revised engine, rebuilt mechanical system, frame sandblasted and repainted in original colours.
All components are authentic or faithfully recreated, preserving maximum historical and technical accuracy.
The MV Agusta 125 Corsa from ’49 represents one of the first genuine race bikes to emerge after the war, symbolising Italy’s technological and sporting renaissance.
It is a model that opened the way to the world titles won by the Varese company, and today it is regarded as an iconic piece of Italian motorcycling history.
