.................. SOLD...................... 68 Impala SS, genuine Z03 code super sport.... I have enjoyed this lovely old thing for the last 3 summers but due to my other long term project finally nearing completion I have decided to let this one go, It's totally reliable and I would jump in it and drive anywhere, I had it rolling road tuned by John Sleath a couple of years back and it just runs and drives great and is surprisingly economical too.....
It's a good solid old car too, I can see no signs of any rust or any previous rust repairs either, original 327 and TH 400 trans, air con has been removed but I do have it here, it's got tubular headers on it but again I have the originals to hand....
The interior is nice and original too, the carpets are a bit faded here and there and there's a small tear on the drivers seat back but all told it's really nice, headliner is lovely too..... everything works apart from the clock, heater is excellent.....
Paintwork is very presentable as you can see from the pics but it's not perfect, it's got the odd ding and blistering here and there and some lifting around the boot lock but it lives outside a lot of the time and gets used so that's the way it is,
So there ya go, I'm not an Impala expert but I know a good car when one lands in me lap and this has been for sure the most reliable and user friendly american car I have owned..... viewing is welcomed and please feel free to contact me for any further info or specific pics.... car is located near Kings Lynn, Norfolk,
Based on other stuff I have seen for sale price is £24, 995 or near offer, I would also consider a sensibly priced part ex of anything old or interesting, car or bike..... anything considered but it needs to be usable and on the road so I can jump in it or on it and get me fix......
