Description
Replica, Ford, GT40 from the manufacturer, GTD. It’s a genuine GTD and not a fake like most of the things circulated to produce false papers… this car has its FFVE certificate as well as its French registration document, a collection car in the rules, fully verifiable.
-This GT40 has been completely rebuilt. It also has a three-panel passport, issued by FFSA; it is eligible for several championships in France and can also participate in the Tour Auto.
-The cockpit has been redesigned to accommodate a tall person (1. 90 m) without having to place the Bubble on top of the door pillar.
-4 QA1 shocks
-The engine is completely new, it has been run in on a test bench. Engine. with proof. Then the car was dyno’d as well.
The engine has about an hour of use to date.
The car develops 420 horsepower for 550 Nm/ torque
- 326 CID engine
- Holley carburettor
- Aluminium intake manifolds and cylinder heads
- Roller camshaft and lifters
- Dart engine block
- Forged bottom end
- Aviaid oil pan
- Electronic ignition, MSD
- New gearbox purchased in England from GT Racing; it is an Audi 01E box that has been prepared internally with a Quaife limited-slip differential.
All adaptations have been done to professional standards. The gearbox can withstand a lot of torque, allowing relaxed driving.
-The exhausts were custom-made with cross-flow. There are two options: install silencers or install direct tubes to reproduce the original sound… neighbours are always very happy… this is done very quickly thanks to the V-band.
-All cooling system hoses have been replaced; high-flow electric water pump. 19-row oil cooler radiator installed as well, which balances water temperature and oil temperature. The car does not overheat at all.
- FIA-compliant Tillet carbon seats, FIA-compliant harnesses, fire-suppression system installed inside as in the engine bay, also FIA-compliant. Cut-off switch, interior, exterior. Rain light.
- Installation of a six-point roll cage inside, FFSA homologated.
