Description
I am selling this beautiful XJ6 (X300) 3. 2 automatic, 3. 2 6cyl AJ16 engine, which pulls well with its smooth, effortless gear changes. First registered in August 1996. I have owned it since August 2023 and covered just over 8, 000 miles with no issues. It is in fantastic condition with its Spruce Green Pearl paintwork and Parchment (with sage green piping) - full leather upholstery. The interior and wood cappings are perfect.
It does have some small marks to the paintwork, but this doesn't detract from its overall beauty and rust-free bodywork.
MOT until September 2026, and has always been serviced regularly. Remote central locking, power steering, air con, stereo (reconditioned with Bluetooth upgrade) and a 6-disc changer in the boot. Digital Clock repaired, everything is working as it should. 20 spoke alloy wheels. Headlining has just been replaced, so the Interior is now perfect. The air con was fully serviced last year. All the shocks and bushes have been replaced this year.
Under the bonnet is as immaculate as the rest of the car, as is the underside.
The car is in extremely good condition, and all the bodywork is original; no welding has ever been carried out or is required

Minor faults
The paint on the boot lid has started to craze a little, but is still presentable - see photos
A couple of small corrosion marks on the lower edge of the rear screen - see photos. Very light wear on driver's seat bolster, see photos. As you can see, I am being very critical, and most people would not even describe the above as faults.
Known history from new.
Being first owned by Foster Wheeler in Reading, used to transport its high-profile customers around the UK (chauffeur-driven), covering over 45, 000 miles in the 4 years of ownership. It was then sold to its 2nd owner, who again used the car, covering another 40, 000 miles in the 3 years of ownership.
The car, having covered over 85, 000 miles, was then sold and led a more relaxed life, having several owners but only covering another 3, 000 miles
In May 2006, the car was acquired by a retired chap who always wanted a Jag, and he ran the car for the next 15 years, covering a mere 3, 000 miles and always keeping the car garaged. Following his passing, his daughter acquired the car but found it too big to use and decided to sell it.
I then acquired the car in Aug 2023 with a mere 94, 000 miles on the clock
The present mileage is just over 102, 000 miles

Took me a long time and thousands of miles to find this car. But now reluctantly for sale, as I need to reduce my collection and release some funds for my long-term MK2 Jaguar restoration project.
