Very rare 1922 Model 1 Raleigh for sale. This bike is eligible for vintage VMCC rallies like the annual Banbury run, which is what I brought it for, but I now have 3 eligible bikes (pre 1931) and I really need to thin my collection down a bit.
It's in good running order and appears to be very original. As with all bikes from this era the front brake is pretty useless, however the back brake is superb. I find with Lever throttle bikes it's difficult to operate the front brake when slowing down so the fact they're not very good doesn't really matter. The bike still has its original registration number that I believe is transferable. It has a V5 correctly showing it's year and a Raleigh club dating certificate, so obviously it's free road tax & MOT exempt.
